Scenario Development is the entire process of utilizing scenarios as a critical piece of organizational strategy and includes both scenario building and scenario planning.
Scenario Building is the act of creating multiple alternative narratives to form a broad map of possible futures.
Scenario Planning is the process of using scenarios to create present-day outcomes and actions for an organization.
