Welcome to The Dragonfly Journey: A Holoptic Foresight Dynamics® Community of Practice

Hope, Care, and Love… these emotions and qualities are fundamental to the human experience – to the experience of the entire cosmos. Can we imagine a future transformed by an ever-unfolding pathway of hope, care, and love?

At TFSX, we believe that foresight and futures thinking is much more than a set of methodologies and tools – and even more than looking for trends or building scenarios. Deeply profound futures consciousness is an evolutionary mindset, a regenerative heartset, and an awe-inspiring soulset.

We understand that foresight is certainly useful as a discipline to enact powerful change in organizations and governments, but real and lasting change takes place within hearts, minds, and souls. If we aspire to co-create a global narrative of collective, cooperative, and collaborative hope, care, and love, then we need to unlock our biological, psychological, and sacred ability to “dream one’s self awake and fall in love with the future.”

Whether this way of seeing the future sounds wonderful or weird to you, we invite you to be a part of a community of practice that believes futures of hope, care, and love are more than provocative… they’re preferable, possible, and even pragmatic.

There’s no better guide on this transformative journey than the magnificent dragonfly – life’s chief architect of emergence, perception, anticipation, imagination, and futures consciousness.

The dragonfly’s incredible example has been central to the philosophy of Holoptic Foresight Dynamics® (HFD) since its genesis in 2009. More recently, TFSX co-founder Frank Spencer has begun to share the grounding philosophy of HFD and the dragonfly’s powerful example of next-level futures thinking more broadly in interviews, webinars, and courses. The TFSX team even launched the Transformations of Natural Foresight retreats in 2022 to enlarge the dragonfly’s futures-empowered eye and grow an HFD community around the world. Of course, not everyone can attend these incredible retreats each year, so Frank and the TFSX agreed in 2024 that the time was right to multiply the HFD philosophy through an ongoing community of practice.

The HFD Community of Practice exists to promote the embodiment and activation of:

•   A Holoptic Story of Life: a “whole-eyed” vision that elevates our foundational narrative from “separated and siloed” to “diverse and whole.”

•   Cooperation for Kinship: an understanding of how the diverse parts – human and non-human alike – cooperatively emerge into a coherent partnership that exists as a uniquely unfolding “many-eyed whole.”

•   Perception of What Wants To Emerge: the intentional creation of a simultaneous feedback loop between the “whole” and the diverse “parts” that allows for the deep perception of emerging novelty, transformational realities, and co-creative actions.

•   Futures Consciousness as a Living Trait: the biological, psychological, and sacred dynamics of imaginal anticipation that exists inside all life, and is unlocked in humanity through the “many-eyed whole.”

The HFD Community of Practice gathered in 2025 through discussion boards, conversations surrounding dynamic thought leaders, and bi-monthly webinars to unlock their dragonfly capabilities and connection to the many-eyed whole. This year-long journey has been filled with insights, revelations, unlearning and relearning, a deeply spiritual communion, relational emergence, personal and collective growth… and yes, soaring of hope, care, and love.

Now it’s time to kick-off a new year of The Dragonfly Journey with unique voices, a growing community, emerging perception, and co-creative transformation.
