Identity 2.0 is loading. The question is: who (or what) will emerge?

This Halloween, the Intentional Evolution Experiment is heading into the laboratory for an exploration of the increasingly strange science of being human. Our DNA can be stored as data. Our identities can follow us through digital worlds. Our biological lifespans may stretch well beyond what previous generations considered possible.

Suddenly, the old question: Who am I? has acquired some wonderfully weird new answers.

October’s Identity 2.0 Happy Hour explores the digital, biological, and ethical forces transforming selfhood, and because it’s Halloween, we’re embracing the uncanny possibilities lurking at the edges.

What happens when your DNA has a database? Could your digital self outlive your biological one? If you live to 150, how many versions of “you” might exist along the way? And when identities can be authenticated, augmented, duplicated, preserved, and reinvented, what actually makes someone someone?

Welcome to the identity lab. Things might get weird. 🧪👻

Once a month, Frank and Yvette go live to mix foresight, philosophy, and a touch of irreverence. The Evolution Happy Hour is where we decode complexity, challenge assumptions, and toast to the future. No slides. No scripts. Just real talk about what it means to evolve – together.

For our annual Halloween edition, costumes are highly encouraged as we explore:

🪞 Digital Identities and the many versions of ourselves emerging across physical and virtual worlds

🧬 DNA Banking and the strange new reality of our biological identities becoming persistent, searchable information

🧛 Radical Life Extension and what dramatically longer lives could mean for identity, relationships, generations, and the very idea of a lifetime

👻 Digital afterlives, biological legacies, and future selves that complicate where one identity ends and another begins

🧟 The monsters we create when technology evolves faster than our ideas about privacy, personhood, ownership, and consent

All served with the signature TFSX blend of optimism, activism, healthy sarcasm, and enough Halloween weirdness to make Dr. Frankenstein proud.

We’ll be experimenting with identity, immortality, digital doppelgängers, and the wonderfully unsettling possibilities of intentional evolution.

After all, the strangest thing evolving this Halloween might be us.
